I believe that feeling heard and understood can create space for greater self-awareness, healing and change.
I balance deep listening and curiosity with practical strategies to manage stress, anxiety and low mood.
Services
Tali Budlender Psychology provides therapy for people aged 18+. Sessions are held in a beautifully designed therapy space in Gardenvale or via telehealth.
Who do I see?
I have a special interest in working with clients experiencing anxiety. This may show up as general anxiety, or anxiety related to a specific issue such as social situations or health concerns. I support people to feel less afraid of anxiety and to loosen its grip. My practice also focuses on:
obsesssive compulsive disorder
depression or low mood
perfectionism and people pleasing
perinatal issues
childhood trauma
ADHD and autism.
I welcome adults of all ages, genders and cultures.
What is my approach to therapy?
My approach is warm, non-judgmental and authentic. Therapy is guided by your goals, and I always start by seeking to understand your individual needs and preferences about how to work with a therapist.
I aim to create a safe and compassionate space for you to explore experiences, thoughts and feelings. I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Clients often share with me that they appreciate the practical tools and strategies they learn in sessions.
